Trading

Shops are places where players may purchase equipment or food for their adventuring needs or sell extra items and treasures. Many shops trade only in specific types of merchandise, or may not have enough money to pay you what your item's true value is. There are many shops all over the Kellwar. In some one can find excellent armors and weapons while other shops are less wealthy.

Buying

The first thing to do in a shop is to see what the shopkeeper has to offer. To do this you type list. You can even filter items displayed in the list by specifying keywords, e.g.

list dagger
or
list silver amulets
or
list large chain sleeves

This will display a list of different objects or food that you can buy. In the shop list you can also see the cost of each item displayed. Before you buy an object it is good to browse through each item to see if they are of any value. While doing this you can compare the shopkeeper's stuff with your own to see if there is anything you need. To check the greatness of an item you have two choices - either go for the number before the item in the list or type the item's number, e.g.

browse 1
or
browse sword

By doing this, you will get information on the item displayed to you. When you have found an item that you want to buy and you have the money in your inventory, type

buy [number]
or buy [item name]

An item has now been bought!

Selling

If you have gathered a bunch of items that you no longer need, you can now sell them in a shop. Make sure you are standing in the correct shop for the item though. To sell the item type:

sell [item name]

To sell all items you carry, just type

sell all

By doing this you give the item to the shopkeeper then receives an amount of money representative to its value.

If you want to know how much is the shopkeeper willing to give you for a particular item before you actually sell it, you can ask shopkeeper directly by typing

value [item name]

If you need to prevent yourself from selling a particular item by an accident or by the sell all command, you can add it to the keep list by typing

keep [item name]
